He counsels fellow wealth managers and is a frequent investment industry speaker in major markets across the country.
A resident of Naples for more than 40 years, Bob serves the community as a board member of Artis–Naples and The Baker Museum and as a trustee for the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF). He is also on the board of the Guggenheim Museum (Venice, Italy).
Bob, along with his wife Terry, has been recognized by numerous organizations in the community: Gulfshore Life magazine’s “Man and Woman of the Year”; Naples Illustrated magazine’s “Super Man”; Stars in the Arts award from the United Arts Council; “Community Impact Award” from the Naples Art Association; and the Mending Broken Hearts award from The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. In 2015, Bob was selected by the Naples Daily News to be in its first 25 Over 50 class of accomplished leaders honored for their vision, talent and impact on our community. Bob and Terry are former chairs of the Naples Winter Wine Festival and co-chaired the 2017 and 2018 Naples Zoo galas.
Collectors of modern art, the Edwards’ art-filled home is a regular stop for visiting museum groups and often hosts patron events for non-profit organizations.
Their son, Rob Edwards, with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame College of Business, is a PIM Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors. Their daughter graduated from Columbia University and Yale Law School and is practicing corprate law in New York. Their younger son received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and is pursuing a graduate degree at Duke University.
